Po starcie za samochodem holującym po wyczepieniu na wysokości około 100-150 m szybowiec odchylił się od osi pasa i zderzył z drzewami, a następnie z ziemią. Pilot poniósł śmierć na miejscu. Szybowiec uległ całkowitemu zniszczeniu.
