VFR Planner for airspace and weather analysis

The VFR Planner combines AUP-activated zone data with aviation weather to give a more practical picture of general aviation flight planning than a zone map alone. You can choose departure and destination airports, check weather along the route, view en-route airports and see which airspace may matter for your flight.

METAR, TAF and zones on one map

Combining METAR/TAF weather with the airport database and PANSA data helps you assess VFR flight risk faster. It is especially useful when choosing alternates, planning cross-country training and assessing whether your planned altitude and direct route need closer look at controlled airspace or temporary zones.

What is the VFR Planner?
It combines PANSA (PL) and ANS CR / AIM (CZ) airspace maps with METAR/TAF weather and simple airport-to-airport route analysis for VFR planning in Poland and Czechia.
Where do the zone data come from?
PL AUP comes from airspace.pansa.pl. CZ zones (LKR320A + daily AUP HTML) come from AIM ANS CR. When PANSA static API is empty, PilotHub shows a cached snapshot. Weather: IMGW (PL) and CHMI (CZ).
Does route analysis consider altitude?
Yes. With a planned altitude in feet, we include zones whose vertical band includes that level (or the per-leg altitude if set). Horizontally, zones within about 8 NM of the route centreline count as well - alongside your track, not only those crossing the drawn line.
How does route analysis work?
Set departure and destination (airports from the list or custom points from the map-click menu), optional intermediate airports with +, default altitude and flight time window - route analysis refreshes automatically whenever you change something. You will see legs, a schematic altitude profile, zones, NOTAMs and weather along the route.
Can I rely on the planner for flight planning?
The planner is for support and planning only. Before flight, always check official AIP, NOTAMs and current AUP (PANSA / ANS CR).
